My life unfurled,
Before my eyes,
Why did u leave this world,
For to you I am tied.

It has cut me,
You’re tearing away,
Why does this have to be,
I just can’t say.

That bond,
From me to you,
Of it I’m rather fond,
Now it’s fading I know not what to do,

I will stand by you,
To the very end,
I’ll drag myself through,
Though a hand you might lend.

For that bond between us,
I’ll do it unaided,
It is based on trust,
And has never wavered.

You may fade away,
But on this mass of land,
