Yup. Also, people with depression may be seen as less attractive because they aren't keeping up their appearance & hygiene near as much, if at all.

Actually, this is not supported by the research (e.g. Noles, Cash, & Winstead, 1985). However, there is lots of support that depressed people see themselves as less attractive, although subjective raters couldn't tell the difference.

Another research proofed that happy, smiling people are seen more attractive and pretty than sad people . - at least I read this somewhere .. (Hope my English is understandable, sorry)
