It must be hard to have a relationship with depression... for both the couple. So I don't really blame him if he couldn't take the pressure, he must've felt hopeless and hurt when he couldn't make her happy to the point where he couldn't take it as it weighs on his day to day life, he could have said it nicely tho...

I've always worried that this would happen to me. It got to the point where I tried to break up with him before it got to the point where he left me. It never worked. He just kept trying to keep us together. It's been four years since this started and he still hasn't ever given up on me.
