This one makes a really good point about depression...
...Which is,
You cannot escape it,
No matter how badly you want to.

Besides the relatable content, I just have to praise you on the immense improvement in your art over the years. It looks really good, man! And I love that you include people of all sizes, ethnicity and sexual orientation. It's not something that is really out there, or is made a point of in itself - it just kinda is. You just showcase people, simple as that.
I really appreciate what you do!

Thanks, those are very kind words! One of the things I believe in is "low-profile inclusiveness" in which one tries to be inclusive but not to draw attention to that. Treat it as if it weren't unusual, because it really isn't. It's been a learning experience, because the first strip with an overweight character was about overeating, and I did get a lot of justifiable flack over that. I learned I can't introduce characters and make what's different about them from the socially accepted white male hetero cis default the point. After that, every time I introduced a character I gave them stories that focused on how similar they are and this has been more successful for me.

Yes, me too! I think about this a lot, and I've made it a point to try and be more inclusive in my projects and future stories, but I'm still a little stuck in my old habits, haha. But it really serves to make things relatable for more people, overall. It's a really good thing.

At last, a person featured in one of your comics that does not shrugs the depressed person's problems!

There are a few sympathetic ears in the comic, but for the most part conflict as opposed to agreement makes for a more dynamic strip.

://| I am sorry. I did not mean this would not be exciting, I intended to tell that the message would not catch the viewer's attention if the mood in the comics is stagnant.
