wonderful, Edvard. seeing this just created multiple story lines in my head...Barcelona, Marseilles and Gare du Nord in 1901... innocence lost, goodbyes said, stoicism in the face of some harsh realities...

Oh, an international story, transtations, steam trains, lost illusions,
I would like to hear that one some day. But how my picture could trigger such settings
I cant just figure out!

story was born from your art.

creative process is like beauty word - full of ambiguity, so think is a good representation.
and spiritual... maybe is that sensation to fly in one wing

Do you see your self as spirtual?

I am not sure what it means! Believing in spirits I dont!
But If I met a spirit – I would not mind at all.
I am not very materialistic either. But I am a romantic! Thanks for the fave too Manon!

I don't have eye to myself, plus I don't care too much.

What meaning to choose when I say "Spiritual" - humorous, smart humor!?! about what says religion?!? or pure intellectual?!?... or things made up by our spiritual (mind&soul)?!? I'm afraid that spiritual word has sooo many faces that a metaphoric representation like flying in one wing is cool. A spiritual representation indeed .

the ghost spirits is something else (better not include here)...
about you... what I see after all works in gallery, maybe you are romantic (but, believe me, romantical images are very different ) ... your images shows your spiritual side much poignant. Well, don't worry, you don't have eye (to see) for yourself, too .

my pleasure

Spiritual to is to me the music of jazz saxophone player John Coltrane. His late works. I had my period of that but now I dont know. I do like Zen though. Spirituality without religion!

I have a friend who knows a place with a ghost – he will ask if I can have a night there. Could be nice
to meet a ghost!

I dont think my gallery conveys much of my romantic side, or a spiritual side. But no I dont worry or think much about it. Well a little maybe.

Thanks som much for your comments Manon!

I understand Ed what you say because I like Coltrane, and...

poster is very good or at least it is on my taste.

have a nice day

--------------------------------------
P.S.1 ...with ghost take care (if you suddenly disappear I will know what happened )
P.S.2 a hidden romantic side is much valuable that the one on the table (or on wall).

I really like the muted colors and the raggedy shape, Ed. Nice work.

muted? The red is quite strong! But ragged yes – thanks!

RichardLeach In reply to derkert [2011-05-06 14:50:53 +0000 UTC]

Strong but not pure red so I called it muted along with all the taupey, beigey tones. At least - on my monitor it's kind of orangey - plus the grunge quiets it a little. You're welcome!

derkert In reply to RichardLeach [2011-05-06 17:15:16 +0000 UTC]

R 255 G 64 B 53 a true red would be 255 0 0 – but the difference was not that great in my opnion. Or on my screen! But not pure – correct! But if it looks orangey – our monitors are not calibrated in he same way.
They NEVER are!

I see what you mean, that is not far off in RGB! Interesting. What about the red in this one of yours [link] ? That's red red to me.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

derkert In reply to RichardLeach [2011-05-06 21:20:34 +0000 UTC]

It is actually less red in that red we talked about before. And it is not as even as the last color patch you refered to. So what you see is a visual overall effect of many reds. Some RGB readings: 139 1 0. 120 2 0. 106 2 0. Funny!
