The only thing I can suggest to achieve that is practice, practice, practice, preferably on the same character/model.

I spent an hour trying to modify this digital drawing I was doing -- and I couldn't fix it for the life of me because of the turn of his head -- THANK YOU. You just helped me make headway.

I always find it hard to draw these poses correctly, and I don't like to avoid them because they can bring about great scenes. Thanks.

would this work for a female if you slimmed some of the features out?

Yes! Awesome! a great reference for necks and shoulder poses <3
((While looking over the reference, my weird side decided that these models were trying to crack their neck and all I heard from that point one: *crack* *crack*

I discovered this when it was featured in #Improvement-Club , and it's rather interesting timing because I was just working on a drawing where I might need to know this. This tutorial points out a bunch of helpful quirks with drawing turned necks that I've never thought of before. Thanks for making this!

I love finding tutorials like this, because I'm pretty certain I'm not alone in saying that when you want to do a specific pose, Googling it just simply does not work.
So thank you very, very much for making these! I can't wait to look at the others : )

I'm using this particular tutorial for a drawing at the moment, so yes, it is a big help! Especially that the person has crutches and such, so I'm being all researchy and such trying to get it right xD;
