*This is not classic Proto Man/Blues, this is his cartoon counterpart, and the only version of Proto Man that I don't draw with black hair / blue eyes.*Drew this awhile ago so it's already old, but I waited to upload it because it's a minor spoiler for Mega Man Recut (in a way).
Originally this was going to be a scene with him talking to Wily, but I got lazy and just cropped it. >>

Handsome! I love how you had him keep the brown eyes, I remember his prototype form in the cartoon (the tiny robot that Light and Wily activated together) having brown hair and eyes, yet almost everybody draws Proto Man with green or blue eyes. I know Ruby-Spears isn't 'canon' per say, but it's refreshing to see somebody draw him WELL and a little different to how he's usually depicted. Haha, he looks so pleased with himself, exactly how he sounds like in 'Recut'. Excellent work, and your artwork is as amazing as your writing.

Know what you mean, this character design for cartoon Proto Man is very underused, most of the time I see him with grey/green/blue eyes, like you said. Not that there's anything wrong with using those for characters designs--who's to say, Ruby-Spears never clarified for sure what Proto Man really looks like.
One thing I never noticed before I started coloring this pictures is how RED the prototype's hair is, it's almost as bright as his armor(I thought it was the same color as Mega Man's). I sampled from the screenshot I have, but I toned the color down a little bit and lightened up his eyes a little to get a better contrast.
