sweet! i'm really excited to see that theme! but i have a question about it... does the items on the taskbar allow ur mouse to be at the bottom of the screen when clicked? or is it like your L.E.D. theme (which is awesome by the way) where the icons are like in between the top and the bottom?

Awsome bro, glad you like it so much working on a display wall for it now, so it is gonna be publish in not meny hours now
If i get you right, and i think i do now, hehe lol i think you mean the "taskband" right, where all your running programs show right?
if it's there, you can not click the button if the mouse cursor don't hit the button edges so if you wanna move your cursor under the button, you can do that without hoovering the button
as for the icons, this theme will work best and look the best with small icons on the task bar, if normal icons are used, thay will go a bit over and out of the button frame, gonna have all this in the preview for ya too

yea the taskband! haha i learned something new today! XD but i didn't know people made them that way so people wouldnt click them if the cursor was at the bottom... now i know! haha i'm just used to like moving my mouse to the bottom and seeing which one i want kinda preview light up haha.

You can hide your taskbar if thats what you mean?

DaNinjaSmurf In reply to Designfjotten [2012-07-14 16:07:29 +0000 UTC]
no not quite. kinda like windows 7 before it's patched, when the taskbar is up if you move the mouse to the bottom of the screen the icon will light up but some themes i've come across require you to click in the middle of the taskband to open the application... hope that helped clear up what i meant

I'd love to my friend, but my computer is being shipped to HP for repairs....I'm on my wife's laptop right now. I posted this at CreativX, but you didn't see it because I posted it in the staff lounge. I got an email from HP saying the model I had, along with several others, have defective motherboards, and HP would fix them and pay shipping charges in an extended warranty thing they added to the original one. So, my computer HAS been crapping-out on me periodically for several months now, and I sent mine in (yesterday, FedEx) for repairs. Here's the info from HP: [link] ...Like I said, I'd love to test your theme (I'm sure it's badass!), but I can't right now. Mine will be gone for at least 2 weeks. And my wife don't want me running themes on hers; she has it customized just the way she wants it.

aha, i see no problem bud, have 3 others testing it, and they have not find any bugs yet so just have one more small thing too do on it and its all good too go
crappy shit this thing with your computer bud, i have too say im not that impressed by HP's service, not for a company atleast, had HP support on my last job for the company, and we allways had problems with the hardware, software were good tho so switched over too DELL and the service over there was like comming too heaven bud
hehe.. but maybe thay fix it for ya
my advice is too build your own, so you now how too fix it yourself
i can give you some pointers if you like, i am aducated too build computers and setups you now (MCITP Enterprise Administator)
but if your not intoo that building thing, i understand
i myself is bitten by the modding bug
hehe donno if you have seen my rig, but think it is in the show of your rig @ VC
but hey, you can test my theme wen you got your computer back again maybe i even have made a new one by then
hehe
cool, your wife is a customizer too
Hope you are having a great one bro

Thanks but yes I can build my own....Just haven't wanted to spend the $$$ yet. I like HP's customer-service. Their computers are usually very reliable too. My 1st computer was another Pavilion, and that thing was combat-proof! LOL! Dell, no offense to you, but I hate them. My experience with Dell has always been terrible. When I used to repair computers professionally, I hated getting a Dell job.
I'll eventually build one, but I want to wait for another year or so, let the SSD technology get a little better and cheaper. Until then, I'll just spend 800 dollars or so on new HP machines. I also like a few other mass-produced brands. Maybe I'll get me an Apple next. Dunno. I like them too.
