Description
This is a kakapo, a bird endemic to various habitats in New Zealand. This innocent and rather goofy looking bird is flightless, and has become endangered due to animals brought by Europeans to this land. Mainly, by cats and dogs. Like the Dodo, it has evolved in an environment without too many predators, and as such, is rather defenseless when attacked.
