Description
This is not quite a dragonfly, as some of you suggested, but it's good practice for drawing one. I found this strange insect, and I must admit it took me by surprise. I drew it for #TinyTuesday , as I didn't know this type of insect existed until very recently, and I find its wings rather unusual. I hope you like it. Maybe next time the long awaited dragonfly will be in focus.Related content

The wings look like they took some time to draw. I think I don't have the patience for that ^^'.
I saw an interesting cute insect last sommer on my vacation, that I also didn't know until then. It's called Hummingbird hawk-moth.

I looked it up, I have seen pictures of it before, but forgot about it. The resemblance to the bird is uncanny. Very strange indeed.
