I may not know the particular type of frog this is, but I thought is was flashy enough to make it appropriate for #TinyTuesday . It amazes me how much detail you can find in nature in the minutest of creatures. I hope you like our froggy buddy and maybe you can elucidate the mystery of its identity.Related content

Honestly, this is a very very good piece of artwork, and I'm certain that I couldn't have done all this myself. There is one thing that I would like to point out with the shading though. The stippling shading kind of takes away from the shiny and smooth appearance of the frog, giving its skin a more rough or grainy look. You might be able to fix this by blending together some of the dots in areas that you want the eye to focus less on, or in areas where there are transitions between colors. I'm not really sure if that would work, since I haven't tried myself, so I just recommend that you experiment with it I guess.

This is an amazing frog ! The members and the skin are very well done ! I tried to find its identity but there is so much species... Does it really have verticals pupils ? Most of toads and frogs have horizontal pupils so it could be a hint...

I am pretty sure... I also found onlineΒ a lot of frogs with vertical pupils. Maybe they are specific to a region? Maybe tree frogs have vertical pupils? I honestly have no idea, I am just guessing.

Oh you're right ! There is a lot of frogs with vertical pupils... now that I search in English. Seriously, why did i found only one with vertical pupils when I search in French ?! That doesn't make any sense !
