Description
This tutorial was thought of a long time ago, and to my shame, I only fulfilled my promise to you now. I hope it is useful - it is quite long, but I did my best to explain how things work when I draw things. Let me know if you were already familiar with these techniques and if this helped in any way at all.Related content

Maybe something about lighting on different textures? Apologies if that's a little vague. But now that you're tackling more things than just food every week, you might want to try showing how you shade and draw the new things as well.

Yeah, I was thinking about feathers, since someone just remarked on Instagram that feather textures are tricky and mine seem to look nice. It's the tutorial no one asked for, though. )
Anyway, I don't have a better idea right now. And the thing with light... it's difficult to make a tutorial when you don't have a method... you know what I mean? For me, it's an intuitive processΒ based on trial and error, and sometimes it turns out well, sometimes it doesn't. So I can't say that I can teach you guys things that I don't think I know myself. I mean I don't want to be giving you a b******t tutorial that any professional out there would put down and prove wrong. I don't want to be saying the wrong stuff, especially if someone is bound to listen to it.

I see. Feathers are probably a good idea - I love birds, but I never know how to draw them right!Β
I understand. Lighting is difficult and varies from style to style, heh. It can be difficult figuring out how it works, too.
Best of luck, though!

Hi Lizzy, I'm glad you like this. I will try to keep making more, it's just that I don't really know what you guys want to learn. So I don't really have ideas for new tutorials. Please let me know if there are specific textures or processes you would like to know more about.

hmm, that's a tough question! I'm a total beginner when it comes to drawing food and stuff, so the tutorials I would need are pretty basic haha. in general though, you could always do little process compilations/ tutorials? Like showing a stage by stage drawing of a specific kind of texture, like soup or ice cream etc. Not necessarily an in-depth tutorial, but something small for people to learn! Like how to make a pizza look extra cheesy, or a salad to look crunchy and vibrant.Β
Sorry i'm rambling!!Β Β

Hi, dearie! I'm so glad you dropped by! Thank you for the feedback. I tried my best to make this as detailed and explanatory as I would like a tutorial to be. I need tutorials made 'for dummies' most of the time. ) Really detailed and step by step.
