Description
A dark haired woman in a flowery dress kneels in a shallow, rocky tide pool. Oblivious of the cold foamy water, she gazes upon a blue crab that stands upon a rock at the on the rim of the pool. The oversized crab looks back at the woman. Further on past the pair, the ocean continues its never ending assault upon the land as waves crash upon beach spraying water and foam and filling the air with the rumble of the surf. Meanwhile, ever thickening clouds warn of approaching rain.

Occasionally, I like to go back and review some of my previous artworks to see if I can redo them or use the scene to make a new art. In this case, I had built most of this scene last year for another print featuring two crabs, called "Border War" ( daniel-eskridge.artistwebsites… ). I liked the way the tide pool looked so much though that I decided to see what new kind of scene I could create with it.

Tools used: ZBrush, Poser, Vue, GIMP
