LupinRed - Carmen Sandiego
The leader of the team. Her reasons for fighting is to stop V.I.L.E but she has other reasons, one being to figure out the whereabouts of her mother.

LupinYellow - Ivy
Third member and Zack's twin sister. Compared to Zack, A master of disguise and less of a risktaker. She's competent and cautious. She has a soft spot for the team's newest member, Patricia "Patty" Larceny but has a disdain towards Sunset Shimmer.

Lupin X - Arsene "Enigma" Lupin
A mysterious individual, claiming to be from parts unknown. Was once an ACME Agent before going to a life of crime. His only heirloom is his X Changer and now has a new mission: stop VILE before they can use the power of the Lupin Collection for evil.

Player - White Hat Hacker & Informant
A teenager who provides intel and information to the team. He lets technology do the work for him but he is not afraid to get his hands dirty if needed to save his friends. Eventually he becomes a full-fledged member of the team becoming LupinGreen.

The Patrangers - A team of ACME gumshoes that fight for justice but know that if push comes to shove, they will find a common ground with the Lupins to take down V.I.L.E

Patren 1gou - Snails
Leader of the team, under Roy's insistence. He's in on the journey in the hopes of stopping evil. Follows the path of the samurai when able. He's vicious to his foes but friendly to his allies. He has respect towards Goemon Ishikawa XIII and aspires to learn under him.

Patren 2gou - Snips
Second in command. Don't let him fool you. He lets his fists and martial arts do the talking. His aim compared to the others is precise, allowing him to make his shots count. He's the only member of the group that wields two VS Changers in battle for dual gunning. Has a rivalry with Daisuke Jigen.

Patren 3gou - Sunset Shimmer
Third member of the team. Compared to the others, Sunset's skill specializes in her looks and brawn. She kicks butt almost as much as she looks good doing it. This has her crossing paths with Ivy as her rival. She despises Roy for breaking her heart and Fujiko Mine for trying to woo her ex.

Patren 4gou - Twilight Sparkle
Due to Roy's insistence, she joins the team. The opposite of Sunset, she specializes in her knowledge and forte to determine the best course of action. It doesn't stop her from going all out as a Power Ranger. Like Sunset, she has a disdain towards Fujiko for trying to woo her fiancee.

Patren X - Roy Starfall
A teenager who went from saving the multiverse to now being part of a team of heroes. He can be a bit carefree but will always do what is needed to save any world. Tamara Fraser-Thigpen - Current Chief of ACME. She formed the current incarnation after an attempt to capture a thief went horribly wrong. In turn, it has become a secretive organization that operates from the shadows. She's at odds with her mother over the incident that caused ACME's reformation.

Chase Devineaux - Once a former Interpol agent, now an ACME gumshoe. But due to several incidents, he has been demoted to desk duty. He harbors a bit of jealousy toward the Patrangers but won't deny how they are taking the fight not only to V.I.L.E but also Carmen and her team.

Jules Argent - ACME detective and Chase's partner. Compared to Chase, Jules prefers to use her intellect to figure out and deduce cases. She wishes to prove that Carmen Sandiego and her team aren't bad people. Her biggest challenge are the Patrangers themselves.

V.I.L.E - Villains International League of Evil

Dr. Gunnar Maelstrom - One of the founders of the organization as well as a member of The Faculty. A former marine biologist who became a doctor of psychology & practitioner of psychiatry. Coach Brunt - One of V.I.L.E's founding members who also doubles as an instructor. She specializes in combat training and physical conditioning. She despises Carmen for betraying V.I.L.E but would soon have disdain toward both Ranger teams for interfering in V.I.L.E. operations. Despises the V.I.L.E dropouts especially one Eartha Brute.

Countess Cleo - V.I.L.E founding member and professor at the Academy. She emphasizes on undercover operations along with determining differences between real and forgery. Knows Enigma due to their history and was once known as The Contessa before changing her identity.

Dr. Saira Bellum - V.I.L.E founding member and professor. She specializes in the use of technology & science during heists. Compared to the other members, she devotes a lot of her time through her technology. She has an upstart hatred towards her older brother, Dr. Samuel  "Belljar" Bellum. Despite the animosity, she's not afraid to seek her own brother for aid.

* * * * *

Former V.I.L.E members

Shadow-san - V.I.L.E operate turned facility member and professor. He specialized in origami as a means to improve a thief's pickpocketing skills. However he was outed as a double agent, who is now allied with Carmen's team.

Dr. Samuel "Belljar" Bellum - A former V.I.L.E professor who left to become a gray hat hacker. He was born with a rare disorder that forced him to amputate his left arm and replaced it with cybernetics. Being a gray hat means he can either work for the heroes or ally with V.I.L.E. He's also the one responsible for reverse engineering the VS Changers, designing new devices and giving two individuals the ability to become Power Rangers.

Gray "Crackle" - Former V.I.L.E operative who had his memories erased due to failing to capture Carmen Sandiego. With Belljar's help, he was able to regain them and with it obtain a new purpose. Later on, he joins the Patrangers, assuming the identity of Patren 5gou.

* * * * *

V.I.L.E. Dropouts - They're a group of delinquent D-list operatives who had no chance in being part of the new V.I.L.E. They once worked for the mysterious Carmen Sandiego but now work under Enigma.

Vic the Slick - A dropout who has tacky fashion sense and even tackier humor. After the original V.I.L.E was disbanded, he became a used car salesman. Was once a love interest of Patty Larceny only for Enigma to woo her away.

Double Trouble - Twin dropouts that prefer to party around than actually committing crimes. They worked many odd jobs but currently, they serve as the eyes & ears of Enigma. Plus they are his personal bodyguards.

* * * * *

Other Characters

Arsene Lupin the 3rd - He is the third in the Lupin line, following the legacy of his grandfather, Arsene Lupin. A guy who can be a flirt and a douchebag. He steals from other criminals but has to contend with not only his compatriots but Inspector Zenigata. He carries his signature Walthier P-38 pistol. He joins the fight for the Lupin Collection after learning a secret relating to his family lineage.

Daisuke Jigen - Lupin's partner and marksman. Skilled with every sort of weapon he can get his hands on. He's also a heavy smoker in some ways. He's always armed with his .357 magnum revolver and is dependent on it. He has a rivalry with Snips, mostly cause of his reliance of using two guns instead of one.

Fujiko Mine - A criminal, burglar and trickster. She has a habit of teaming up with Lupin's gang for her own ends and is not afraid to double cross them if she wishes. Her beauty woos any man foolish enough to entice her. After meeting Roy Starfall, who steals a kiss from her, she seems intrigued by his actions to the point where she has feelings for him.

Goemon Ishikawa XIII - Descendant of Ishikawa Goemon and one of Lupin's friends. A man that has studied numerous Japanese martial arts, he's best as a samurai wielding the mystic sword Zantetsuken. He is more laid back and has a sense of pride. Has a rivalry with Snails over their sword skills that would eventually grow into a master-student relationship.

Koichi "Heiji" Zenigata - An Interpol agent whose life mission is to capture the famed thief Lupin the 3rd. He is a well respected officer among Interpol but can be impulsive due to his sense of justice. The only other person he considers an ally is Roy Starfall, who is more than happy to help him if needed. He is on friendly terms with Roy as well.

If you make a story about this and if you even so attempt to disrupt the power-up status quo, I'm going to piss on the moon after pissing my own ass.

How so? Besides, in my take things are a bit different.

for starters, I am changing things up. Plus the Red ranger won’t be the only ones getting powered up... the others are too. Plus the Victory and Siren Striker get an upgrade in the form of Dimension and Requiem. This allows the respective Reds to enter a Hyper Mode.

If the Pats never get to use one of their power-ups, then there’s gonna be a major problem! Is there at least a counterpart for the Lupin Magnum and Jackpot Striker?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DestinyDecade In reply to fishprom2955 [2019-12-11 04:42:38 +0000 UTC]

Dont worry. All the Patrangers will have access to theIr respective Super and Hyper forms but with a drawback. The catch is that it can be taxing on the body.

If you have any ideas for those two, let me know though my idea is the PatrenSniper and SWATStriker.

I like it! Though, I was referring to boosts like Splash. Are you actually going to give them the chance to... oh, I don’t know... USE IT? Unlike the reality that was incredibly forced means of happenstance meant to pander to the Lupinranger fan base and to PERMANENTLY rob the Patrangers of one of THEIR VS Vehicles in episode 30?

DestinyDecade In reply to fishprom2955 [2019-12-11 04:48:22 +0000 UTC]

That wont happen here. Trust me. They will use the Splash Trigger.

Also, don't you find it kind of jarring? Keiichiro could've easily just left with Splash, but he left it in Kairi's hands because Red Dial Fighter can fly faster than Trigger Machine 1gou can drive? Hmmm... that's true. Except he was forgetting one subtly-hidden factor... if you spell "subtly" like this:

Kairi would have been hot on his ass with Red Dial Fighter if he tried to GTFO of there!

Keiichiro literally had to fight for that fucking thing, and when he does get it, he loses it to Kairi! And then we get a plot-relevant city fire courtesy of Mr. Shit 'n' Scorch that prompts Keiichiro to throw the knowledge of his VS Vehicle's capabilities into the wind and give his team's VS Vehicle to Kairi and his team! The Pats were fucking robbed and they never got their shit back! The plot induced stupidity as a means to pander to the Lupinranger's fans! It drives someone with serious OCD like me BATSHIT CRAZY!

It's also extraordinarily insulting to me that all three Lupinrangers get to use Trigger Machine Splash at one point, but NONE of the Patrangers do! Bull-fucking-shit!

I... I'm sorry about the outburst... episode 30 just fills me from head to toe with venom!

They need love, too. If Jackpot Striker turns the Lupinrangers into Lupin Tricolor, then what does SWAT Striker do?

DestinyDecade In reply to fishprom2955 [2019-12-11 16:50:15 +0000 UTC]

The SWAT Striker turns the Patranger into a Patren SWAT mode similar to Dekaranger

Really? I was kinda expecting it to split Patren 1gou into three. Wouldn't that make more sense?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DestinyDecade In reply to fishprom2955 [2019-12-11 17:43:20 +0000 UTC]

Not a bad idea. That can work. It'd be similar to LupinRed when he uses GoodStriker.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fishprom2955 In reply to DestinyDecade [2019-12-11 17:45:52 +0000 UTC]

And besides, GoodStriker turns the Patrangers in Patren U-gou, and Jackpot Striker turns the Lupinrangers into Lupin Tricolor. What would the name of the mech that SWAT Striker forms the body of? LupinRex can't just stand alone as a team-exclusive controlled mech!

DestinyDecade In reply to fishprom2955 [2019-12-11 20:24:32 +0000 UTC]

Nice. Since my Patranger team consists of five base colors and Patren X, I decided how 4gou and 5gou’s mecha: 4gou has a Helicopter and 5gou is an armored truck that doubles as a defense armor for Patkaiser and PatTsar.

fishprom2955 In reply to DestinyDecade [2019-12-12 06:32:46 +0000 UTC]

Woah, woah, WOAH! Hold it, hotshot. Isn’t the Lupinranger mech’s aesthetic air vehicles? The Patranger mech’s aesthetic is supposed to be land vehicles! Also, we kinda already have a Trigger Machine 4gou and 5gou, in the form of Biker and Crane & Drill. Besides, I think that it would be a better idea for the original rangers of both teams to keep a specific auxiliary mech on their person.

Lupin Red: Magic Dial Fighter
Lupin Blue: Scissor & Blade Dial Fighter
Lupin Yellow: Cyclone Dial Fighter

Patren 1gou: Trigger Machine Splash
Patren 2gou: Trigger Machine Crane & Drill
Patren 3gou: Trigger Machine Biker

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DestinyDecade In reply to fishprom2955 [2019-12-12 06:50:02 +0000 UTC]

That is why I am changing things up. And besides, by the time my project reaches its endgame... both teams will have a core team of 6 rangers each.

And plus a copter is also useful by the police to have a watchful Eye In The Sky.

4gou and 5gou have their personal mecha: a copter and armored truck. LupinPink has a bi-plane and Green has a Stealth fighter that doubles as a temporary airbase.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fishprom2955 In reply to DestinyDecade [2019-12-12 06:51:50 +0000 UTC]

Wouldn’t it make more sense for Pink or Green to have a land vehicle if 4gou has an air vehicle?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DestinyDecade In reply to fishprom2955 [2019-12-12 06:54:12 +0000 UTC]

That could work. Pink would have the land vehicle btw.

fishprom2955 In reply to DestinyDecade [2019-12-12 06:58:05 +0000 UTC]

I know, it just seems kinda... off to me. How the hell would it be able to fly if there’s just a giant trigger where the hind rotor is meant to be?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DestinyDecade In reply to fishprom2955 [2019-12-12 07:01:43 +0000 UTC]

How about this... during a skirmish, each Ranger gets a different vehicle that is originally meant for a respective team. One problem, they get duped. The Lupin get the Trigger while the Pats get the DialCopter.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fishprom2955 In reply to DestinyDecade [2019-12-12 07:02:39 +0000 UTC]

They eventually get their respective vehicles back later, though, right?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DestinyDecade In reply to fishprom2955 [2019-12-12 07:07:37 +0000 UTC]

Yes they do.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fishprom2955 In reply to DestinyDecade [2019-12-12 07:13:38 +0000 UTC]

I was thinking more on the line of what Taiko554 did with his extra rangers. That way, we’d be able to clock in at a total of 7 rangers per team. (Victory Striker and Siren Striker wouldn’t have their own rangers, though.)

Think of it as two teams of what Goseiger could’ve done if Magis didn’t get offed. Of course, the auxiliary VS Vehicles would probably have to be renamed, but I think it would be a better idea if the MAIN vehicles were renamed, instead.

DestinyDecade In reply to fishprom2955 [2019-12-12 07:30:08 +0000 UTC]

What do you have in mind?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fishprom2955 In reply to DestinyDecade [2019-12-12 13:30:29 +0000 UTC]

Well, if I'm talking about the integration of if we're having rangers based on mechs, then that would total our team to 14 rangers if Lupin and Patren X are separate rangers in this version. And before you say a number like that is too large, need I remind you that Kyuranger clocked in at 12 rangers. Each VS Vehicle would have to be given a full name based on their ability. Luckily, I already have some in mind for them:

Dial Fighter Series Red: Pulse
Dial Fighter Series Blue: Gatling
Dial Fighter Series Yellow: Cutter
Dial Fighter Series Green: Cyclone
Dial Fighter Series Orange: Scissor & Blade
Dial Fighter Series White: Magic
Dial Fighter Series Crimson: Victory Striker

Trigger Machine Series 1gou: Speeder
Trigger Machine Series 2gou: Blaster
Trigger Machine Series 3gou: Baton
Trigger Machine Series 4gou: Biker
Trigger Machine Series 5gou: Crane & Drill
Trigger Machine Series 6gou: Splash
Trigger Machine Series 7gou: Siren Striker

Of course, Crimson and 7gou wouldn't have their own rangers, since they're supposed to be super power-ups for the teams, and not individual powers. Also, I used orange for Scissor & Blade because there's already data in the VS Changer toy for black. Also, it's the theme color for both its gattai animation AND it's cockpit. The names would be interchangeable, and the full names would only be used as a means of exposition purposes if there's going to be a new mech in this episode.

Damn. That is a bit much. As i said, the Lupins and Pats in my project start each with a core of 5 then get a 6th Ranger bringing it to 12. I want to change things up. I want to bring something different and huge. That and give the Patrangers a lot of love.

I know it seems like a bit much, but you can't just leave the auxiliary VS Vehicles alone! They're numbered, too! And who are these sixth rangers?

DestinyDecade In reply to fishprom2955 [2019-12-12 19:09:52 +0000 UTC]

Roy Starfall is Patren X. Enigma is Lupin X. Thing is with this they share the same power but should one change into the other form, the other does the same. No two powers can exist at the same time.
