This was Erik, the Phantom of the Opera, was my dark protector as a young teenager. Β I'd often fall asleep picturing him coming in, saying goodnight, and watching me until I fell asleep.

Beautiful. Reminded me for some reason of some of the work of one of the older Heavy Metal artists like Philippe Caza or Jean Giraud. I know, crazy, doesn't look like either artists work so not sure why. Maybe just because I like your art as much as I did theirs when I was younger.

I'm heavily influence by old heavy metal art XD I saw a lot of that and 80's fantasy art when I was a kid. Maybe the vibe shows through?Β

for some reason this photo made me think of sleep paralysis and the evil presense that comes with it upon half awak/half asleep stage.......the "sensation and feeling of someone in the room, but cannot be seen more like a phantom or ghost.." not sure if you were inspired by this sleep event/disorder to draw this, but yeah i simply was just saying what it reminded me of ...
