Day 6 of the 31 Days of Halloween

Today is the last day of the "Random" week of the 31 Days of Halloween.

I had found out that Infinity Train Season 5-8 would not come into fruition....unless we get some supporters and such. So, however, that doesn't mean we can't stop fighting for the show to continue.

I have been wanting to draw the characters from each season dressed as some characters for Halloween. Some could be relatable or just for funsies because...what do you expect? It's Halloween.

Book 1-I decided to draw Tulip as Dorothy Gale(The Wizard of Oz) with Atticus accting as her Toto and One-One as The Tin Man. I drew them like this because Tulip's journey, while I said was more of an Alice in Wonderland style, her journey is also a lot like Dorothy's where she, too, goes on a journey of self discovery and encounter many things along thier way to find their way back home. Plus both of them have a dog companion which also helps a lot. One-One is also in personality like the Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion.

Book 2-For MT/Lake and Jesse, it was a little tricky considering what's going on in that story, however, I went with the best costume I can do. For MT, I decdied to dress her up as Mulan as both are girls who don't follow tradition and are willing to go through whatever it takes to show that they can be more what society expects them to be(Mulan, it's to honor her family, but also she went to war whie Lake wanted to be seen as a person and not as a reflection of a girl she just met on the train), can kick amazing ass and even cut their hair to signify their change.

Jesse's was a little difficult because he's such a nice guy even though he's a pushover and he does care for Lake like a friend. So, I went with him dressing up as Ryder from Frozen 2 because not only does he have a special connection with deer, but he's also a nice guy who is friends with the rough-yet-soft character and can be pretty chill. Oh and yes, Alan Dracula is there too to add to the effect.

Book 3-Book 3 was easy for the most part. For Hazel, I wanted to dressed her up as Anne-Marie(All Dogs Go to Heaven) as her story is actually very similar to Anne Marie where they are manipulated and lied to by the villain(Simon/Carface) and ironically the protagonist(Grace/Charlie) until said protagonist grows to care for the little girl until they realize too late that she belongs somewhere else and safe. This is also before they face off against their ex-partners. Oh, and I added Tuba as a stuffed animal as Anne-Marie carreid her bunny doll for safe-keeping.

Grace, I really wanted to draw her as Adelaide/Red from the horror movie US because not only does she look similar to Lupita N'yongo's performace in the movie, but throughout the movie that it shows that Red/Adelaide is two faced with the regular and the Tethered self being literally and figuratively two faced. I also saw that the mask Grace wore in the first episode reminded me of Red/Adelaide's mask in the episode.

Simon was SO JD the moment I remembered doing my Heathers cast meme and listening to "Meant to Be Yours" on repeat. Simon was just this kid with this traumatic backstory with his parental figure being one fo the worst guardiands in the history of hell, BUT...it does NOT excuse his actions in the series like murdering a loved one of someone(Tuba with Hazel), being controlling towards your best friend/romantic partner and then trying to murder said partner when he/she turns against you and changes you for the better. And any attempts at redemption get thrown out hte window and they both end up dying for it leaving the ex-partner to decide to make life better for everyone so they don't go through the same crap she did. I also added a smoothie as JD's foreshadowing in the musical had him drinking a red smoothie.

Book 4-Since I finally saw Luca, I was imagining Min-Gi and Ryan dressed up as Luca and Alberto due to their similar personalities. Ryan, like Alberto is more willing to get started on whatever plan he has, but is also reckless and doesn't think so much with his head on his shoulders. He also can be a bit impulsive and sometimes can have difficulty adjusting to change in his life. Min-Gi, I saw as Luca due to them being the dutiful sons to their respective family and they have a hesitant time trying to break apart from it. At teh same time, meeting Alberto made Luca feel comfortable in his own skin(pun intended). And it also helps that I ship Luca/Alberto and Min-Gi/Ryan so it works out perfectly for this cosplay. I drew them riding thier own little make-shift Vespa and riding down it.

Oh, and Kez is there too dressed up like a hermit crab. XD.
