Since Samus is part metroid I can justify her changing her body mass and shape; the energy has to get stored somewhere! (I'm probably just being autistic about this but whatever)

Story to go with it if ya care;

Head pounding, you dragged your sorry ass into your uniform and started making your way through the halls to your post. The hangover makes the lights even more glaring and the purple and greens of the science station keep blurring together.

At least you had a nice dream; Samus Aran and you talking it up over a few drinks. No clue what you were talking about, you were too busy staring at her eyes, and her chest, and her hair, and... her everything, honestly.

Thinking of the most dangerous woman in the galaxy and what she might let you get away with, you turn a corner and your view is filled with sky blue. Backing away you see some cold blue eyes, blonde hair, and try your damndest not to stare any lower.

"Oh," she says, crossing her arms, "You."

Why in the Hell is Samus Aran, slayer of space pirates and destroyer of planets, giving you the time of day?

She leans down, getting face to face with you, "Tell _anyone_ about last night and I'll toss you out of an airlock."

Stunned, you stare forward, and when she straightens out, it takes you a few seconds to realize you're looking at her chest. You look up at her face and for a brief, surreal moment, she might have been smiling. She walks past you, slides something down your collar, and walks off, you turn to watch her go while fumbling for whatever it is.

A piece of paper with a room passcode. You pinch yourself. A lot. Ain't no dream.
