What is it with me and never drawing legs!? I don't know...Anywho, I figured Jacob really needed an update. My drawing skills have really improved in all the time I've had him, so I'm glad I did this. I needed a look that made him look like the rather innocent, boyish version I used to have. That look was good I think, but it was good for him then, but I think this suits him better now.
Now to explain a few things:
THE SCARS - Those have always been there, but you could never really see them with his old design, as they would be covered up by his old T-shirt vest. He got the stabbing marks on his chest early in life, the night he became an orphan. The bullet scars are probably from work as a bounty hunter for MNU, and maybe had to cut it a little close in a shooting.
THE GUNS - Again, He was a special ops hunter gone rouge, So he's trained in human firearms. He had to go to a special boot camp and everything. :I
Aaaaand everything else just sort of came with the update. Just wanted to make him look more... Ergh Updated.
Whatever.

A fine question...I'd say that because Jacob is an extreme non-humans rights defender, one that has seen the faces of a couple different rights movements and groups, he'd probably want some kind of voice in the Poleepkwa Helpers Association, as well. A creature of long-term suffering, he would strive for a role to play for anyone who supports the rights of his people. However, He is also very much an extremist; a wanted criminal/freedom-fighter...so it might make senses if they were to question him, ostracize, shun, or not accept him at all, just for being the headstrong little soldier he is. Thus further adding to his role as an outsider to most.
That's my answer.

Hmm so he's the poleepkwa equivalent of Tau! Well, nothing keeps him from making friends with the guys, although of course Rineke would be onto him the way he's onto Tau. He could be a non-regular member for sure if you want. He might show up at one meeting every now and then and maintains a lose relationship with some of the other members... Anyway, I'm going off to click YES.

Hmm... Compared to Raddy? No, No, I don't think so. Jacob is a far more severe case... I mean, If you wanted to spring for a comparison, You might wanna compare to like, the 'Bear Jew' from "Inglorious Bastards". Or Rorschach.

You should compare him to Black Jack, Suthnmeh. Both look extremely tough and both support non-human rights.

You could add Jacob Smith to PoHA. Like as if he was BJ's long lost friend. Like before they landed on Earth, they could have been close friends while in battle, watching each other's backs.

You know, I was wondering the same thing bro. WHY NO LEGS!? But ti doesn't matter, they he still looks smexy as it is. Line art is awesome, reminds me of how I do my lines. I have a twin! O:
Also, I really like his facial expression, so dark and awesome. You should totlay have some phat ass explosion in the background and like dead 007. Nah, I kid the dead James Bond.
