Description
This logo combines the Audio Description logo with a symbol on a remote for Audio Language selection. As far as you may know, many DVD titles with audio description have audio description in only one language.
If I had a Pay TV service, I would include speech synthesizers in our receivers and transmit audio description as plain text, of which would save valuable bandwidth (text uses a tiny fraction of data compared to a regular soundtrack).
This also lets *you*, the viewer, to select the voice for audio description which suits you best, as one voice for all audio description may not suit (or be "friendly" to) everyone, especially young children.
How about Dora speaking for the audio description track?
Also, my scheme would include audio description for all available audio languages, and again, saves valuable bandwidth.
This scheme can also be applied to DVD and Blu-Ray titles, with a signature byte in the audio description subtitle track so the speech synthesizer (again, you choose the language and voice) can operate if it is selected.
