Woo! Original/blank meme is here: Dan's Transformation MemeI thought Midnight might be the most appropriate character I know to be transforming, since he was a Lunar.
Concepts of Lunars, etc, are all from Exalted, which is a pretty cool tabletop RPG setting. As you might have guessed, Midnight was a panther Lunar. I played him in a relatively recent game, and he was basically the big buff reticent hot guy who could turn into animals or a girl at a whim. A lot of times, he turned into gigantic things to eat or crush stuff.

perhaps irrelevant to the entity responsible for it, but aren't Lunars canonically IMMUNE to involuntary shifting? nicely done, though.

I ran an Exalted game once and had a moment where a mortal showed up during an annual village ceremony and cut a goddess with a mundane-appearing sword and the whole game devolved into a lengthy discussion among the players about how a mortal couldn't possible harm a being with Essence since special Charms were required and a mortal couldn't use charms. I closed the Exalted book, threw it in the trash and have run D&D ever since.

what do you mean, they needed magic? your players are simply not paying enough attention. did this particular entity have ox-body and/or perfect parry? no? schmuck gets a free hit because cocky Essence-tanks.
