Description
In the current round of D&D, our group includes Kiran, the ex-revolutionary; Na'ille's, the Wizard-Elf-Scholar (and his trusty owl, Maris); Jethram, the nomad barbarian ex-waiter with a penchant for EXTREME ADVENTURE; Cae, the mild-mannered half-elf wizard-in-training; and Sophilia, noblewoman and priestess of the dragon goddess Estera.

We were all rounded up initially by supposed agents of the Empress Fernandi (the very same Empress Kiran previously led a failed revolution against), then "broke out" of prison with the help of a so-called rebel sect that wanted our help in return. Why and for what purpose is still unclear, though they tell us they want us to locate five tomes of great power that may hold the secret to defeating the immortal and terrifying Empress. So we have been searching for just that (even taking on CODE NAMES, and eventually naming our adventuring group The Rainbow Connection upon group consensus that that is probably a good thing to be called). Meanwhile, who knows what the Empress might be up to.
