I am compiling some images expected in my portfolio assignment that were not the natural product of my classes to this point. One was to draw two plants; I decided to use some techniques I've learned about for doing trees, and shoot for a Palo Verde in bloom. They're definitely the reason I even recognize it's spring down here in all this sweltering heat.
