Description
This is a shot of a pair of my headphones. I have not used them that much yet, so they are nice and fresh. I only want to use them for studio purposes, and since I haven't been in the studio too much yet, they have remained unused. They are AKG K 240 Studio headphones, in case anybody was wondering:EDIT: I made a little adjustment to the color balance. I think it is improved a bit now... Let me know what you think

I think I like the color version better, it highlights the plug better with the gold, and the black and white almost seems unescesary in comparison.

yeah, i agree with you for the most part. the only thing i like about the b&w is that the lighting looks a bit better in my opinion. thanks for the comment

I like how at the back it's blurred, but yet at the front it's so sharp, it makes one wonder of where to actually plug that in, nice lighting as well

That's a very interesting shot! The title works quite well with the piece, and I love the fade to blurriness in the background. Nice angle to take it from, as well. Great job!

BTW... good choice in headphones. I promise you you'll be happy you bought them

thanks very much... i like them a lot. i finally started using them a bit during my last quarter at school to hear the difference between my mixes from the monitoring system in the studio. i really was impressed

I like this more than the b&w version. Nice dof, of course, and good composition. The lighting seems very warm, though. Maybe you should mess around with color cast to lower the amount of yellow.

The trail the cord makes is a nice addition to a good pic.

Very nice shot. The angle is great! I love how the cord fades out of focus, that probably happened naturally.

yeah, set it to manual focus to get the DOF effect on it...

Interesting compostition, when I clicked this I was secertly hoping you had used macro..but that is okay I mean it would be really good if you would have left the whole thing in focus....anyway keep practicing...

the detail on the gold connects is captured very well with the luster that is to be expected in real life. The grain of the wood also shows up well, you picked a good spot especially since the wood itself is reflecting slightly the connect.

Really like this shot. Although Its not what I asked for in the forum (emotive portrait)!
However its a really well worked shot enhanced by the wood which compliments the gold well.
Effective DOF also.

Looks great I really like the way the light hits the plugger-in thing (heh, i'm not good with technology!) and the way it fades out to the background

I like the shot. you seem to have a thing for these closeups...but they work well. good shot. these images would look good on like the inside of a cd cover or something. some sort of music book or production...
