Description
This is a shot of the new lecture hall facility at my school. It is a really cool building and has interactive classrooms and all that jazz. They have set up remote controls that they assign each student who takes classes in certain rooms and they use them to take quick quizzes or suveys and the results show up on the screen in real time. Technology, I tell ya...
I think it is pretty cool anyway. I liked the way that they set up the lights on this and the columns I thought were cool and how they curve to meet the rotunda, so I thought I should capture that part of the building.As usual, comments, critiques, and

I think the colored/saturated version of Walter Hall works better than the black&white. I didn't expect to see an OU photo on deviantArt. Well I like the photo, reminds me of the Color, light, and sound class I had there last quarter.

I've seen the 2 versions and honestly, I prefer this one. I thinks in colors its much more vivid and eye-appealing. what I love more about this shot is the way how the columns drag my view until the end of the photo, like they are leading me.

I like this one a lot better than the other version. This has a lot of dark colors blended really well, and a good contrast with the lights. Plus, the angle is perfect, making the curves look even better.

This photo immeadiately reminded me of athens, and the white house!O_o Interesting picture, and to capture it at night when the building seems to be its most beautiful tells me you've been watching it closely as an artist. The light placement and everything is pretty cool as well. There's nothing bad about it

perfect lighting! i think this would have been a litttttle bit better if the pillars closest to you were out of focus, rather than the whole thing being mostly in focus, the depth of field seems flat.

yeah, i think they are both neat, but i am starting to lean towards the b&w too i think. i like the brick though, it is very athens... everything is brick here.

it was a fairly short exposure i think. i think i just used the auto settings for this one. thanks for the comment. glad you like it.

i've got a year before i go to University of Southern Mississippi.... i'm at MGCCC (mississippi gulf coast community college) right now... i couldnt even comprehend having a hall like that at our school o_0
