"Oh God! Thats my son! Thats my son, no!! Itachi!!" The poor women was hysterical, I took her arm lightly and attempted to lead her out of the small crowded tent. This was hell, Poor kid warned us to, what a shame.

"This is just provoking war, it will only lead to more death." I remembered him telling us. I wish i had listened. But we where all to worked up, with adrenaline and arrogance that blinded us from the truth. The result was death, he was right. He was always right. Our clan had been at war with Konaha for less them 3 months now and we where already on the path to failure. Out numbered and un prepared we began to die off one by one. He was our leaders son, of corse they targeted Itachi, anything to get in our heads. Anything to get this battle over with. But the worst part of it is that its not even beginning to be over. Konaha, even with such an advantage over us is unstable, distracted by our petty fighting. A new shinobi war will break out after this. Even a child could see that.

As I lead Mikoto out of the small medical tent I continued to consult her. She had a pained expression with one hand over her moulth and her shoulders shaking. She whimpered and sobbed in shock, in confusion, and in horror. "Im so sorry Mrs. Uchiha.." I whispered softly "God, im so sorry." She shock her head lightly un abel to speak so i hugged her and sighed.

Her words where light and hardly audible "this needs to stop, my Itachi, my son, look what this war has done to him. It took him away from me, oh god."

Five minutes and twenty seven seconds whent by before Fugaku showed up. Being rushed from a heavy battle, across the fields and back to our small pathetic base. He knew everything at this point, there was no need to explain. he passed us and rushed inside the medical tent with out a word. Then there was silence. A long painfull silence. Mikoto and I held our breath a listened for a reaction, a response, a scream, a cry, something, anything! But instead there was a horrifying cold, icy silence that made my body shake in frustaion.

Its called shock. Painful quite shock and disbelieve that that made you fall to your knees and cry. I was angry at myself for thinking this. How could i believe such a thing? "this is your fault old man, you made him fight, you made him, this is your fault!" Or maybe i needed someone to blame.

If I thought this was the hardest part, I was sadly mistaken. I haddent thought about the kid untill now, I couldnt watch. He walked up to me last holding the hand of one of the medics, with round confused eyes, biting his bottom lip gently and picking his words carefully.

"Shisui-San, wheres Nii-San, whats going on?"
