thanks. i think the framing worked, i cropped it a little because you could hardly see the bear before, and it was behind glass, but i don't think you can tell so i must have done something right, eh?

Very cool...plus you didnt have to go to the North Pole. Now you have that 300 mil lens it will be fun to go to places like the zoo and really catch the faces.

We can take trips whenever you get a break. There are so many cool places to go. I was in Vegas recently and it just wasnt that interesting. The lights were pretty at night but during the day there was nothing really worth shooting. Have you ever been to Sedona Arizona? I was there onece and it was so beautiful [link] Check it out. The Grand Canyon would be spectacular . I was there as a kid but I remember how amazed I was by it. I like people in my pictures so get ready to ham it up for some crazy shots

I like the color. You are right though, the animals almost always look like they are in a zoo. It's kinda sad.

it's alwasy so hard to take pictures in a zoo. especially when trying to work around cages and what not.

i try to go often just for picture opportunities, but it's harder to make a picture of some animal look good in a zoo than you would imagine, sadly
