Description
The wad of cloth stuffed into En-Trance' mouth, held in place by heavy layers of duct tape, muffled her scream somewhat but it still echoed loudly in the dingy room. Her body stiffened in agony and she bucked wildly, rocking the chair she was bound to, but she couldn't escape the pain.

The man inflicting the pain, the Mannequin Man, watched her suffering without comment for several agonizing moments, then released his grip on the weighted clamp attached to the Shadow Siren's now throbbing right nipple.

"I warned you, if you lied to me, I would hurt you." The Mannequin Man said in a flat emotionless voice. "I don't want to hurt you Trance, I just want answers. So, one more time..." Without warning the Mannequin Man grabbed a fistful of En-Trance long hair and jerked her head back so he could look into her softly glowing lavender eyes. What he saw there pleased him, less wilfulness than before and a lot more fear. Fear of him. Fear was good, he could work with fear.

"Do your friends know where you are? One blink for yes, two for no." He nodded in satisfaction as En-Trance blinked rapidly, twice this time.

"Good, good. I would hate for our conversation to be interrupted". The Mannequin Man stretched his hand to caress the clamp dangling from the heroine's left nipple, untroubled until now. "Did you know, the interesting thing about pain is the body can build up a tolerance?" En-Trance whimpered softly, tugging futilely on the zip ties securing her to the chair.

"It's true, eventually it can become...ineffective. So, you need to switch things up. Right now we're just getting started, you don't want to know how far I can go" The Mannequin Man gripped the weighted ball of the clamp in his fist but didn't pull, for now. "Now I want to know how you resisted my powers, and whether your friends have the same abilities and you are going to tell me everything I want to know, or else..." The Mannequin Man gave a gentle tub on the clamp, a reminder of the agony he could inflict if En-Trance defied him again.

"So, shall we begin?"

( The Shadow Siren finds herself silenced and helpless, the captive of a mad man who wants answers to his questions, answers that would endanger her friends. Can she find a way to foil his plans or has she pursued her final case? )
