Part of my decision in where to post is governed by "what will the mods do with it?" thinking. If you have ANY sewn fabric clothing on they will move it from Artistic Nudes to who knows where else. In this particular case my thought was that constriction is a fetish, why not here?
No matter, it's good to see that there are others out there who do support the right of myself and others to produce as we like, within the rules. People seem to forget that this is "Deviant"art, where you don't have to conform to "normal" artistic values. In fact, some of the best art out there breaks so many artistic "rules" and THAT is what makes it great. Like you, if I don't care for a piece I just pass it by. Why some feel that they have to gripe about something that doesn't fit their taste I'll never know.

OK, I wasn't going to comment but the "content police" are starting to bother me. This section is called "FETISH PORTRAITS" not "FEMALE ONLY FETISH PORTRAITS" or "ALL FETISH PORTRAITS EXCEPT FOR MEN". I don't particularly enjoy pictures of guys junk but I looked anyway because it looked like an interesting shot. so what, we've all seen them before and I'll say it seems to me to be a pretty nice one. If this guy feels that his photograph belongs in this category and he's not violating the rules set down by the owners of this website then you know what, he has the right to put it here just like anyone else with what they feel is a "FETISH PORTRAIT" does. You don't want to see it DON'T OPEN IT. It's not like he's hiding the fact that's it's a penis. You saw the thumb nail so you knew what was going to happen when you clicked on it but don't ridicule the guy for his choice of art. there are lots of things on DA I don't agree with or want to look at and you know what I DON'T but I also don't complain when other people's tastes differ from my own.

I just read the three messages here. Apart from SVeidt's comment, the first and last had value. Then i went to look at elgriton's favorites and i didnt see any girls junk there. So i started to wonder about the value of the third message. So i went to Deviant-50's gallery to see what else there was to offer.
I might repeat what elgriton said "What makes guys think other people want to see pictures of their junk?"
Come on Deviant-50 what are you about man? What are you trying say with all your Penis images, are you just trying to show it off because if thats the case then i would say that you can stop now, there is plenty there for the world to see. Or are you trying make some statement or comment on society? There must be something behind it all, surely there is more to you than just your genitals !

Well Colin, by that logic we should stop posting pics of nude women as well. God knows there are plenty of them out there already. Do you justify your photos of nude women with some grandiose artistic purpose? I doubt that it's anything more than you just like doing it. But that's ok. Because it's the female body most everyone accepts it as art. Put a picture up here with a penis in it and you'd think the world just quit spinning.
But to answer your query there is a message and yes there is more to me than just my genitals. I have three other DA pages that are for my main works. I choose not to reveal them here to avoid "tainting" them. The fact is that I detest double standards and hypocrisy. The first time I posted nude pics of myself they were tame. I caught more flack over the fact that there was a nude penis in the pictures from people who were faving spread wide open Vaginas that frankly, it pissed me off. So it's fine for them? Not me? My tame pictures? No sir. That doesn't stand with me. So I ratcheted it up and got "in your face" with it. I didn't care if it was artful in the least. Since that time I have decided that it wasn't worth being mad about and have tried to make it more fun, more diverse, and use some artistic skills in the process. The message is still the same when confronted. I will not be denied simply because I have a Penis instead of a Vagina. When DA makes a rule that we can't post up close shots of Vaginas AND Penises things will change. I do follow the rules that DA has for males. I get close at times, but I don't break the rules, except the ones people carry around in their heads that Penises are taboo.

There is an audience for almost everything here. Much of it I don't care for at all. I don't tell anyone they can't do what they do simply because I don't like it. If they are following the rules and are making themselves happy I leave them alone. I probably would have stopped after my first or second posting had I not gotten page views and faves along with the derision.
