Thank you for your kind words and advice. He is now going out with my formerly very close friend (and I know she is just using him). I was going to finally tell him how I feel but he told me that first. I secretly hope they break up soon so I can let him know how I feel.

I see him date all of these girls. Who treat him badly...though he is to blame as well. But he has been asking me out for a year and I kept turning him down...Then I started to like him...I asked him out. He told me that he only likes me as a friend and that same day he started dating somone else.
