Okay, so I tweaked the black and white image that I created for Experiment #1. Now her face doesn't look like it's been pulling apart by centripital forces or something. I experimented with some peacock feathers ... but she looked like some crazy Vegas star ... so I scrapped that idea.I used a reference for the earrings, so I can't take credit for the design >_>
Oh man ... I just noticed her left eye is much bigger than her right eye. Arg. I'll fix that next time. Eventually I hope to finish the rest of her body, since the reference I'm using actually has the model in a full body shot with a pretty cool dress.

lol! Though, to be honest, if I don't do art regularly I notice that I get very grumpy and just don't feel right. So I think you've got a point. The same goes for writing for me ... though I haven't written for a while so I must be certifiable by now XD

oh she is very pretty my dear! ^_^ I like that you gave her green lips! and I also really like her dual colored eyes. I would have NEVER noticed that one was bigger than the other if you hadn't mentioned it lol! You also did a splendid job on the symetry of her earings! (or shall I say earing because you can only REALLY see one XD) ^_^ very pretty~!

^__^ Thank you! I wanted to experiment with wacky colors on her. After all, if I'm painting it, why not go crazy? Now I need to come up with some cool color combo for her hair.

well if you couldn't use peacock feathers like you wanted to maybe you should make her color scheme like a peacock feather? all the greens and blues and purples and blacks ^_^ she'd be like a human peacock! lol!

I think she's absolutely gorgeous. The coloring is very elegant and soft. It all blends together nicely. I like how the hair seems simple with not a lot of complicated hilights that would likely distract from the expression on the woman's face. I didn't catch the eyes until you pointed it out to me. The eyebrows sorta erk me that may have something to do with the eyes though *shrugs* o.O one looks like it curves into the bridge or whatever of the nose while the other doesn't seem to extend that far.
