I did this sketch for Modesty's birthday, since she's a big fan of Link. It's a bit of a cheap sketch since I didn't just want to make him standing, so made him stand with one bent knee ... which really doesn't make any sense since he's not putting that foot on anything. Eh ... I rectified that with the colored version

A perfect example of lineart ready to be colored. I never can tell just how perfect it should be. I see no stray lines or centering strokes. Just the character one step before coloring!

Well, my colouring has definately improved, but I don't do enough art to judge anything else much. Gah I just wish I had the temperament and sit down to draw when I feel like doing nothing (which is surprisingly how I feel most of the time).

Hey, you're not alone. I feel like that a lot. It's only when I actually have things that I need to do (ie. studying) that I suddenly have this terrible urge to draw ^^ My best work comes around when I'm stressed outta my mind.

Bah ... I've been practicing coloring lots. Still need a lot of practice on the finer aspects of art. Relatively speaking, I bet you've improved a lot more!
