subject: maji type folderssoftware: unknown + the GIMP
It all begun when I've found a wonderful iconset: maji by Jonas Rask .
I've found his maji iconset, full of beautiful icons, expecially the folders' ones.
Then I tried to customize them a little bit, to suite my needs.
I've coloured the base folder in 17 different gradients, and applied some new overlaying objects not present in the Jonas' versions.
Jonas Rask gave me his full permission to release my modded version.
So please feel free to use my icons for personal use.
For commercial purposes please contact me for the modded versions or Jonas for the base ones.
The icons are compressed in .zip format and have a 5.0MB weight.

i love them but how can i use them, because they are .png, and you need .ico???????

I don't know how to use them under Windows.
Sorry. As you can see, this deviation is under Customization > Icons > OS Icons > *NIX.
Maybe you can find something you need under Customization > Icons > OS Icons > Windows.
p.s.: I tried to convert a PNG file into and ICO one, and I didn't find any black border.
Maybe you should try another software to convert them. I used the default Eye of Gnome image viewer under GNU/Linux Ubuntu, which can also perform image converting, not only image viewing. And, as I wrote, everything is fine.

these look absolutely gorgeous, and the folders do look like some of the neatest out there. I would love to see them on my dock/
