Found the barn while hiking in the backwoods? All of Smethport is in the 'backwoods'. As a longtime resident of Smethport, I know the location of that barn and am pleased to see that is is not only still standing , but in good repair. I love the lion, and will have to take a closer look next time I'm home.

If I am not mistaken, that lion is the symbol of an area is Switzerland. My college voice teacher, friend and mentor, always had it on his mercedes car, and had hand painted his kitchen with a design featuring that lion. His aunties in Switzerland lived in that area, and he would always come back, every year, from his visit, with suitcases of chocolate from his visit with them.

Yes it is a barn. I found it hiding in the backwoods of the back side of a mountain outside of Smethport, PA. Im glad you like it.
