maybe, maybe not, but let's just say I don't want such a situation to ever happen..
..and to add to my thought that Kanan might die, I'm sure Ezra would be terrified, angry, really sad, and will have that feeling, you know, like an aching hole that probably would never be filledΒ and maybe the need to get even with Vader or something.
But Vader could find him first. Like maybe Ezra's out on a solo mission for some reason and Vader encounters him and tries to persuadeΒ him to join him in the Dark Side (which would be way more effective in season 3, I'm sure) and Ezra's trying to stay calm and handle the situation blah blah blah wishing his Master was there, but it's the luck of the draw and Disney's will, so the future remains uncertain about if this may or may not happen and if Vader is or isn't successful with it.

We have quite the same feeling indeed.
I kind of refered to that scene of ep 5, in the dark cave luke has to enter.
That feeling when darth Vader shows up...
Only a foolish courage would make such an aprentice stand in front of such a threat !
Then if I enjoy imagining what may happen, thinking that Ahsoka should be vader's main target.
Her being defeted may force Kanan and Ezra to hide...

(I ALWAYS IMAGINED A SCENARIO IN A SEASON FINALE, IN WHICH EZRA HAS TO FIGHT VADER ALONE , MAKING THIS A DRAMATIC AND GUT WRENCHING MOMENT. THIS WILL BE LIKE THE THIRD TIME HE ENCOUNTERS HIM ,BUT THE FIRST HE FACES HIM ALONE.)
Vader: Enough. I grow tired of your rebellious nature. You must realize you are doomed.Β
Ezra: No, there is hope. There is always hope. We will win. I will win.
(Tries hitting Vader with his lightsaber but falls down. Turns off his lightsaber.)
Vader: I had the same hope that you have in your eyes child. The same goal, to bring balance and peace to the galaxy by sacrificing one self to ensure the safety of loved ones. But I learned a long time ago that the Jedi are only for themselves. They care little of the emotions of others unless it is for their narcissistic needs. Tell me, has your "master" ever told you why the Jedi are all but destroyed? It wasn't the dark side or betrayal that ultimately destroyed them. It was fear. Fear of power that led them to be paranoid. All it took is for them to be foolish enough to finally hand their trust to the wrong people. They were fools, cowards, and their heart was as black as the night.Β
Ezra: You lie! I saw the archives! You killed children! You slaughtered innocent people!Β
(Slashes his lightsaber but is stopped by the hand of vader, able to not let the blade burn him. With the force he turns off Ezra's lightsaber.)
Vader: Necessary sacrifices to ensure the peace of the galaxy. They were traitors to the republic, and they were traitors to the force.......I will not ask again. Join me, and I will complete your training. We will bring order to the galaxy.Β
(Outstretches his hand towards Ezra)
Ezra: And if I won't?
(Clenches his outstretched hand.)
Vader: YOU. WILL. DIE. WHERE. YOU. STAND.
Ezra:.....Sorry. No dice.Β
(Does a flip and reignites his lightsaber with a confident smile on his face.)
(Vader as well ignites his saber. This makes Ezra unnerved.)
Vader:.......So be it.
(They both charged and.....)

One thing may not suit my consideration of the standards.
Vader tried to seduce Luke to the dark side, as Luke was his (potentially very powerfull) son,
and under Sidious's conscent.
Vader's point was to kill them all. His son came as en exception.
There can be no other to me...
However, let's keep all crazy about it !

I can't wait though to see what we'll be given by those Rebels series.
