This may be reading way too much into this but it reminds me of emotions that I feel sometimes. Being bound to things that you aren't aware or unwilling to see, feeling like you are blending into the background of your own life, totally exposing yourself to others but unwilling to look at them for who they really are............... wow. smooth as silk. the entire piece has a wonderful texture of smoothness, from her skin to her gloves, even the background has a soft feel that draws you in.
