A close up of the current project--a modified (to square) "leaf" pattern, wool warp and weft, silk overshot pattern. 40" wide on the loom, 24 epi, which makes the 8/2 wool warp-faced...now that it's on there and being woven, I'll finish it! We'll see and post photos once it's fulled...next time with this wool it will be a more open sett...I was going more for a "plaid" background, this way it will probably remain striped...but hey! That's okay!(Update 11/2012--SOLD!)

thank you...it's still in the works on the loom, but feels smooth and soft (the wool is merino!)
