Description Close up view...again, the colors are not accurate, but so far, the weaving is! I could have "woven to square", but after finally getting it warped I didn't want to mess around any more! I'll post a "right-side" photo when it comes off the loom.

One of the joys of weaving for me is the miracle of all those individual threads coming together into beautiful cloth. I also enjoy the serendipity of how minor changes make major differences in the look of the fabric. Weaving to square is over-rated.

Seems when weaving, the serendipity is the best part...being "untrained" at all I craft, every piece is a miracle! I do so enjoy never knowing the outcome, until it happens! "Weaving to square" is great when it happens, but I have promised myself to never really aim for it, lol!

Even after 35+ years of weaving, it still strikes me as miraculous that all those disparate threads become beautiful (well, with any luck, beautiful) cloth at my hands.
