I chose to look up at youand acknowledge that you're there.
I went with you
as you grabbed my hand,
I felt real with you
as your hand cupped my face,
Life was amazing in that moment
it made me think of the universe,
You kept me close at night
keeping me safe; our breathing was in sync,
All above else
was how it felt to look into your eyes,
The piercing resonance
it captivated my attention towards you,
I had blushed and didn't know what to do
what was true however, is that I had you.
