Here's a list of my toad renditions. I've ranked them by how I personally like the coloring options. The best is first which is acrylic, second is marker, third is crayon, and fourth is water color. What option do you like using and why?

Acrylic
Pros - smoother and best color fill
Cons - more expensive plus it's easier for the brush to flatten out making lines wider than I'd like plus staying inside the border is tricky

Marker
Pros - more precision and decent color fill although i was using older dried up stick thin markers(not pictured above). the thicker newer ones might have been better
Cons - variety of colors to choose from is too small unless you go the thin marker route which is more time consuming.

Crayon
Pros - lots of colors to choose from. costs very cheap. this 120 pack was like $8
Cons - doesn't fill in that great. sometimes the crayon leaves tiny bits on the paper

Watercolor
Pros - cheapest $$$ option.
Cons - cheapest looking.
