What if all Mongol/Turkic empires: The Great Khans, Mughals, Ottomans, etc. united under a single banner? This great khanate is known as Khanasia, and is the largest country in the world, stretching from Morocco to Korea. Following the collapse of the Russian Federation and PRC the Turkic peoples of Central Asia were ceded to the Republic of Turkey, establishing the Turkic Confederacy. The Confederacy soon became federalized and in a coup a supreme leader known as the Great Khan took power.

The Great Khan established a cult of personality, where children were taken away from their parents to be recruited into the military. These soldier slaves were indoctrinated into believing the Great Khan was himself god, and began holy crusades in his name to conquer the planet. At the turning of the 23rd century Khanasia encompasses nearly all of Asia, North Africa, and the Balkans. The remaining sovereign nations have established a military alliance to subdue Khanasia's aggressive expansion, led by the United States, in blue.
