YEAH! Though I don't necessarily mind the cuddle with me Goji, it's just not serious enough. It's what I like about the original Goji-san. It is dark and serious. Shame he lost that feel from RAIDS AGAIN onward.

Funny you should mention that. That was actually something I wanted to do for the actual creature. I figured that it would make sense to have something that looked like a keloid or scaring on the chest. I wasn't personally very fond of Tokyo S.O.S but that was one thing I did like from the movie.

Actually, yest. It was also partially inspired by some rejected artwork for GFW. Again, I wasn't a huge fan of the film, but the unused concepts were pretty cool.

I think so too. Although my creature has a much different body structure, I thought the chest idea was cool.

That's all too true. However, given where Godzilla was in his career when the first Mechagodzila came about, I think this would've been "too scary".
It's actually a shame because Godzilla was always supposed to be sary in the first place. -sigh- I know that most Kaiju fans would embrace today's image of Godzilla first as a series of flashing lights and insane fights, but I hope we can see a Godzilla like he was in the old days again someday. Know what I mean? Godzilla returned to his former glory, which is what I'm trying to do with my project.

I know. It's tragic, really. Honestly, I think that the Godzilla franchise has become a "Market Orgy" and the character has been deluded to the point where it is a parody of itself. I know that might come off a little abrassive to others, but I'm very deadset on the idea of ressurecting Godzilla's former glory and I'm glad to see that others agree with me.
