To undo the pain we caused one another
If only time could truly heal
And If only time could force us to forget
I wish time didn't have to crush the ones I loved
I wish time could idle in beautiful memories of those I've lost
I wish time could give back the things it owed me
And I wish time didn't have to take so much from us
I hope time will actually be my best friend rather than enemy
To understand and offer an opportunity
I hope time will allow me
To cut and paste corrupt incidents with pleasant events
And I hope time will truly set me free the way I feel way back when
