Took the words out of my mouth on that! After BoM, I'm terrified with what might happen to SH (it's my aaaaall-time favorite series), and it's taken ICO centuries to release "The Last Guardian"... I know it's not a sequel to SotC, but nevertheless, I've high, high trust in ICO games. Ha ha actually, SotC was my favorite game before SH came into my life- you can play that game over and over again and never tire of its absolute beauty. As for MGS, I've actually never played that series, but I wish! Well, correction: I played some of it with my boyfriend, and only from the bit I saw, I really enjoyed it. And when it comes to Konami in general? Damn I wanna play it! RE4 is also one of my favorite games of all time, and it was actually my introduction to horror games, so it holds a special place in my heart. And you look at where the RE series is now... the fifth isn't as good, and the sixth is terrible, so I've heard. So many games nowadays focus far too much on the visual quality, not the impact of the story, you know? It's a real shame.
