with close up shots like this if the object is moveing, try putting the camera on a fixed focus and rapid shutter and take lots of photos then go back and pick out the best one later on the computer; i know its kinda cheating but nobody gets the perfect shot first time, unless they are amazing at photography

yeah that is what was doing it was just that one really and i lost a load of really good pics of a river and swans but yeah i am starting to get used to the camera a bit more still a lot to learn
