What you need is a tripod! i took some photos a while back and was using 10 second shutter speeds!!! made fore awesome photos though; will put some on DA soon

im using a Velbon DF50 tripod ATM, fairly stable, very tall when it wants to be, and doesn't weight too much, plus seems fairly tough - been in my kayak a few times
