Rin stood in the doorway of his school, rain pouring down around him. He hadn't wanted to be here on a Saturday but his train was delayed and a storm brewed up before he could make it home. He turned and tried opening the doors of the school. They clicked open and he walked inside, looking around at the dark corridors.
Rin: Heellooooooo?!

Haku looked out the window of his school. 'great. how am i going to make it home in this weather?' he thought. Normally he wouldn't be here, but the day before he had gotten into trouble and had been forced to clean the entire school on a Saturday. The janitor having better things to do with his time, was long gone so he was the only here. He heard the front doors open and someone called out "Heellooooooo?!" He walked toward the front door.
Haku: whos there?

Rin heard the voice loud and clear. Someone was here besides him.Thank goodness. He started walking and stopped as a jolt of lightning followed by booming thunder cut him off. He gasped lightly and winced. He then cupped his hands around his mouth.
Rin: Rin Kidarashi. Are you the only one here?

Haku heard the lightning and looked out a near by window. 'no way in hell am i walking home in this weather.' he thought. He heard the response and sighed. Walking closer to the door he thought about whether he should give his name or not...Who ever this person was they didn't sound threatening. So he figured it couldn't hurt.
Haku: Haku Shinobu. And yes i am.

Rin winced again as another thunderbolt hit near him. He ran foward." I don't want to be here!" He yelled. His blind eye was closed along with his unharmed one. He slammed into something hard.
Rin: Ow.....

Haku head the yell and chucked. 'yeah this guy is definatly not a threat.' He saw a boy with green hair run foreward both eyes closed. He was about to tell the boy to watch where he was going when the boy ran right into him. He stumbled back a little bit on impact.
Haku: Hey! Watch where you're going!

Rin hit the ground and opened his eyes, holding his head. He blinked and his breath caught in his throat as another bolt of lightning hit the ground. For as long as he could possibly remember, He had been terrified of thunder.
Rin: Sorry, I... I don't like rain.....

Haku looked at the strange boy on the ground in front of him. Lightning cracked again and he just stood there watching the boy's reaction. 'This guy is really paranoid. Does he think the lighting is going to crash through the roof and hit him?' He listened to the boys words and laughed.
Haku: Don't like rain? More like you're terrified of thunder.

Rin's face turned red and he stood up, backing away from Haku."W-why should you care anyways? I can be brave," He said. Another strike. He flinched. Memories replayed in his head. The one that gave him his scar.

Haki laughed at the boy again. "yeah right." He shook his head and began to walk away from the strange boy. Since he couldn't leave he knew he had to find a place to sleep. Some food would be nice too...He walked in the direction of the cafeteria. Surely he could find something eadible in the kitchen.

Rin frowned. He wondered what this guy's problem was. His stomache grumbled and he hunched over. He hadn't eaten anything today. Was this guy going to get food too? He ran after him."Hey, wait up!" He called.

Haku turned to face the boy. He raised an eye brow as the boy got closer. 'is he going to run me over again?' he thought. "what?" he said irratated. He just wanted some food. 'Can't this guy just leave me be?' He thought. He was tempted to ditch the kid but decided to atleast hear him out.

"Are you going for something to eat? Because I wanted to come too."He said uneasily. Something about the cafeteria always freaked him out. He felt like he was being watched. His eyes narrowed as he walked foward. He walked passed Haku."Wait.... Do you.... hear that?" He asked. A moaning sound coming from the Cafeteria. (We can make this a supernatural rp too.)

Haku rolled his eyes then heard a moaning sound from the cafeteria. He wondered if this guy had head it too. Clearly he had. "Yeah i hear it..." he said calmly. 'Maybe some other students had snuck in.' he thought. But something about the sound seemed differnt. Almost...unhuman. (epiiiic!

"I'm not so sure.... We should go in there,"He said, now serious. His eyes were locked on the place."Can you feel the inhuman vibration coming up from the floor? If so..... Then that means.... I was right about this place,"He muttered, taking a step back. When he did, he could no longer feel or hear it. He stepped foward and the noise and feeling returned.

Haku smirked. "scared eh? well you can stay here alone if you want. i'm going to go check it out." He said. He walked into the cafeteria calmly. The inhuman vibrations coming from the room got stronger the closer he got. 'this is definatly not human...' he thought as he began to look around.

Rin ignored him and entered the lunch room. With each step, he felt as if energy was continually being sapped from him. His stomach growled once more.He walked passed Haku and opened the door to the food room. He gasped at what he saw. A figure entirely in black standing there with big yellow eyes.

Haku was looking in the opposite direction of Rin as he walked around. "you know, i heard rumors that this place was built on an old cemetary. they even dug up a body. and they say...that body was dug up...right under the kitchen." he said.

"Yeah, umm, look this way. For a moment,"He said,his eyes on the figure in the kitchen. The figure stepped foward. Rin stepped back.

Haku turned and saw the figure. His eyes widened. "Rin...Run." he said not daring to take his eyes off whatever it was. 'This is bad." he thought.

Rin's feet froze in place. He tried to move but couldn't. A shadow crawled around his feet."Shit shit shit!" He called out. He was trapped. The figure appeared humanly before them now. A sad figure. Rin somehow felt remorse for it....

"God damnit." Haku said seeing that Rin was trapped. He didn't dare go near that thing but he didn't want to leave the guy either. He glared at the creature deciding it would be best to watch and see what its going to do. He slipped his hand in his pocket casually and gripped his pocket knife. He doubted it would help any but it was worth a shot if things went wrong.

The being held out a hand, wanting Rin to take it. He shook his head no but found his body disobeying him."Help," He muttered softly. The thing smiled and took his hand. Markings began trailing up Rin's arms and legs, covering him entirely. His one good eye was wide in horror.

Haku stared in shock as the marking covered Rin's body. He pulled out the knife quickly and ran up to the being. He stabbed its arm and ripped the knife closer to the being so it cut its arm open more. He stabbed the creature again, this time in the face right between its eyes. 'this had better work' he thought as he continued to dig the knife deeper into its head.

The creature screamed and Rin fell to the floor, his body slowly returning to normal."What.... was that?" He asked as the creature disappeared before them, the only clue of it ever existing being A dark patch of blood on the floor.

Haku stared at the blood on the floor. 'even the blood look inhuman...' "how the hell should i know?" he replied putting the knife away. "you okay?" he asked holding out his hand to help Rin up.

Rin took his hand and was hoisted up. He dusted off his own clothes."Wherever I go, something like that mutated thing follows me. No matter what I do, one is always there, taking on a different shape and different power. I don't even know why. Its happened as long as I can remember,"He muttered softly.

Haku looked at Rin and raised an eyebrow. 'Is he serious? This kind of thing happens to him all the time?' Haku turned away from him and started walking to the door. "No sense in staying here. Might as well find a place to sleep." He said. He was still hungry but there was no way he was going back into the kitchen.

Rin looked around and waited for Haku to leave. He walked into the kitchen where the beast had once stood. He found what he was looking for. The fridge. He pulled out some food and placed it in a pan, cooking it quickly. That was one good up. His mother was a professional chef. He fixed the meal and the scent carried through the school hallways. He smiled and poured the stew into two bowls. He Ran out with the bowls, looking around for Haku."Hey, where'd you go?" He called out.

Haku knew his way around the school quite well. He'd skipped class countless times and wandered around. So he knew where everything was and where the best places hide are. He heard Rin call out but didn't answer. He walked into the nurse's office and went into the back room. There was only one bed but right now he didn't care. He lay down and began to fall asleep quickly.

Rin sighed as he gave up looking. He yawned now, really tired. He hadn't eaten anything yet so that could also be something contributing to his tiredness. Plus, he had only just transferred here. So he didn't know his way around. He looked around until he found a map."Where could I find a bed...."He muttered. He trailed his fingers on the map. He tapped them on the words"Nurse's Office"."Well, I can always hope..... I wonder if Haku is already there,"He sighed lightly and sat on the floor, eating his stew slowly. He smiled warmly as the warm liquid went smoothly down his throat.
