Shielding
As well as Ultra Heavy Warship armour, the Obsidian War God carries a series of heavy energy screens and a gravetic force barrier screen.
(This is where the gravetic repulsors of the ship itself are channeled into a wall of gravity, in effect creating a solid wall for missiles, projectiles and fighters to slam into, this does not effect energy beams however)

what program and renderer are you useing? cause the model is goregous but the render could use a few touches

its actually a free program called Doga, but its been tweaked here and there, rendering is a bit rough Im afraid, that was my fault, not the programs, set grain a little to high.

sheot....you made that in doga!!!!! damn dude that one is impressive, i serriously figured youd done it in one of the higher ends but left the renderer to default. yeah doga was my first 3d program, ive got a few of my modles sittin in my gallery and scraps.

hehe.. yeah, I've allways loved Doga, its something you can slap onto a lap top, or stick in a Disgo to carry around with you incase you get bored.

yeah doga is great, i still do concepting in it and occaisionally build serrious models...im just so thuroughly sucked into 3dsmax its kinda become my brain rot toy. lets me stay in the mentality without taking as much out of me.
and i really need to learn to use maya.
