But given no reason to become a patron people will not just hand you money
I made an entire comic, hoping that the good will of my watchers would eventually fund that comic via patreon, but that is just not the case
So, I've been forced to at least try it, to make it somewhat desirable to be my patron
But I've promised all my watchers that all my content will eventually be free

I think patreon is being misused by some and that is hurting the community as a whole. If you feel you need to get paid for your work then by all means charge for it, but as a consumer you need to tell me why I should. If I like your work and want more I will pay. But if you are a one trick pony then why would I pay for it? Heck it wouldn't surprise me if it starts to get pirated. You work gets pirated because 1 of 2 reasons, it is really good and as much as it sucks you don't get paid for it, the silver lining is it may have reached a bigger audience who never heard of you and some of those may become paying customers. or 2, your one trick pony has worn out it's welcome and people are pissed because they feel ripped off for getting the same kind of content with a different filter. Imagine if an adult magazine used the same model every month for years and always posing in a swimsuit it would get dull and boring quick.

Artist deserve to get paid for there work if they feel like that's what they want to do for a living. Patreon is a very helpful and great website to support artist and i COMPLETE agree with you that it's bull shit that artist will use their art as bait to get you to pay for them.

As I said before I think Patreon is great thing. Artist can get some constant income which in this kind of work is like blessing from the sky. I'm happy to see how many I able to more concentrate on their own work and ideas because of that. However some artist clearly abuse this opportunity using self-censoring - which now made a really bad name for Patreon.
I think Censoring your own art for easy subscribers is bad thing that not only destroying your drawings but even disrespectful to your viewers and yourself. I get that artists wanna promote their Patreons but you could just at least put a link in the corner - not cover half of your pictures with giant Patreon logos with premise "Wanna get full? Give me your 5$". This is like I'm not on DeviantArt but somewhere in the dark corner of web with cheesy pornsite Ads everywhere.

No one cares. Everyone has their lives and problems to take care about. Everyone deserves to get paid for hard work, but if those folks are playing on people's interests and hormones, especting them to throw money so they could see a couple of boobs without huge orange "P", this is simply not right - the worst form of agitation. They could give their fans NSFW through Patreon without posting this "teasing" on DA, cause the ones, who will be trully interested in spending money for naked uncensored boobs from their favourite artist, will find his patreon by themselves. Artists litirally "pulling" the cash out of ppl, to see some naked chicks, and thats the problem.
