i love this composition. one can't tell what it is when it's a thumbnail, which forces one to view it full size...very clever! seriously though, this shot is very symbolic, growing up in a catholic school system, an image similar to this was always in my head. the people kneeling were always my teachers and administrators whom i thought were corrupt. i later found out that most of them were. again, great composition, great lighting, very cool shot...taken around may i presume? may crowning much?

it was in front of the biggest Catholic church in the city on a Sunday and the Virgin Mary statute in from of the chapel

I like this photo alot. Saw it the another night but didn't get to comment. But a wonderful picture with just the right lighting and composition. Wonderfully done. I like how it kinda says that this angel is worthy to get his wings. Or it might be just the angel being bless the mother. Very awsome. Wonderfully done. Oh and did I mention is great. lol, keep up the good work. Always nice to see your stuff.

hmm, interesting. i do like the darkness and all. and the fact tat he wears a suit. i understand that the wings being different (as the other is more spread/open as the other) is realistic, but it still might look better if u just copy pasted and flipped the left side on the other side as well. then maybe manip it very slightly to make it less identical. just my idea. anyway it looks good, dark and simple....

I like how Mary's head is tilted to the left while the CEO is slightly offset to the right. Money is the root of a great deal of evil, corporate executives all dressed in black, lifelessly, coldy exploiting the disposessed with xenophobia and downward class warefare. This man thinks that by praying to the hippest god out there he can alleviate his sin, but his wings are too small and lifeless to fly away with. Just my interpretation! [

this is a very good concept, mary... i love how you talk about the capitalist and corporate systems, is not a subject i've seen a lot in art... a few things i thought when i saw it, i think the wings would look better if they were evenly spread, and the image does seem a bit dark [maybe it is my monitor, anyway] but a spotlight descending over him, like a heavenly haze 
with love...

The outline of his jacket is actually visible.. For the most part.. n_n; It's just plain pretty..

I must say the concept, the light, the B& W and all the elements in the picture are absolutely gorgeous. I'm not 100% sold on the composition, although I must admit it is quite daring. I salut you for your creativity.

love it! I especially like how the contrast on the guy is really kind of stark, between the wings and the suit, but the contrast on the Mary is soft and more... well, not more real, but has more feeling I guess.

I like this idea. I think if you through a little highligh on the guy just to give a little more definition to his suit, this would be better. As it is, it looks like wings and a head floating. I like the idea a lot though.

it might be a dark monitor for you - i know on mine i see the complete outline of the let side of the suit and some light play on it - and it does descent into darkness on the right but that was intentional

When I saw the thumbnail I had no idea what was this....But art is made to be seen!
