i collect dolls as well. primarily large scale ball joint dolls and some vintage, photograph them also. i just found deviant art and have been really enjoying some of the doll photography i have been finding.

dark, but good, no all art evokes thoughts of happiness, and it's all in the eye of the beholder also, because art is free to interpretation.

This is so bizarrely sorrowfull and unsettling. To me, the look on the dolls face is more human than the one on yours. I don't mean that as inuslting by any means. Great lyrics as well. Last good Hole album in my opinion.

Genious. Physically, you and the doll look very different, but somehow you managed to capture her expression with your face. You appear as though you look to the doll as an idol, something you desire to be, but can never quite achieve. Appearing perfect on the outside can only mean feeling uncomplete on the inside. You're an amazing artist, and you got all the technical details right too...lighting, contrast, color. Amazing.

oh yes, i love this. I also love this song by the way, and preform it on guitar all the time description is great! and the make-up and emotion you put into this piece....flawless.The doll is amazing,the doll looks as if she is a younger you....sad and speechless but has a world of stories in her mind.Beautiful work once again

Absolutely gorgeous. It has a somewhat surreal feel to it, but such intense beauty. And also that innocence with the doll, clutching to it even as you grow, it keeps you grounded to your youth and innocence

Wow. Powerful imagery, and good description. Dare I say it's a beautiful picture without contradicting the point? I wouldn't mean to, actually, only meaning to accentuate it. It really makes sense. I'm so sorry if you truly feel that way. I certainly hope this was just an experiment. but I can only imagine how girls and women like yourself feel sometimes. i do my best to chastise people who treat others like meat, but then everyone just stops listening to you eventually. I hope someone really special meets all the girls like that, someone who can show them love of WHO they are, not just what they look like or act like or whatever. Great piece.
